In honor of longer days and warmer nights, Bristol Bar & Grille will celebrate summer’s unofficial wine, rosé, with a four-course rosé wine dinner. Join Bristol’s resident Master Sommelier Scott Harper and certified sommelier Rickey Wethington Tues., Aug. 9 at Bristol downtown, 614 W. Main St., as they guide guests through the unique tasting notes of four of their favorite rosé selections paired with French-inspired dishes.

The dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $60 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

First Course

Mussels Provençal
Rosé Brut Excellence Bouvet, Loire

Second Course
Local heirloom tomatoes with burrata, extra virgin olive oil and balsamic reduction
2015 Rosé Sables d’Azur, Côtes de Provence

Third Course
Grilled swordfish Niçoise with quinoa
2015 Rosé de la Chevalière Domaine Laroche, Vin de Pays d’Oc

Fourth Course
Trio of local cheeses with fresh and dried fruits, nuts and crackers
