4th of July Openings 
The Bristol in the Highlands, Hursbourne Parkway and Jeffersonville (Sheraton) will be open on the 4th of July. Downtown and Prospect will be closed, but will re-open on the 5th for Sunday Brunch.

Bastille Week at the Jeffersonville Bristol
Whether you have fond memories of dining in Paris or just wish that you did, you can satisfy your appetite for all things French at the Jeffersonville Bristol Bar and Grille for Bastille Day. The waterfront location of the restaurant, located at the Sheraton Riverside Louisville Hotel, will be celebrating Louisville’s French heritage for the week of Bastille Day with a special dinner menu designed by chef Richard Doering and a wine list specially selected by beverage director Scott Harper. Make sure to arrange a rendez-vous at the celebration, only at the Jeffersonville location of the Bristol Bar and Grille, Monday, July 13 through Sunday, July 19, 5 p.m. to close.Chef Richard Doering’s special French-inspired menu with suggested wine pairings is as follows:

For connoisseurs of the vine, Master Sommelier candidate Scott Harper has selected a special list of French wines available by the bottle or glass. Wine flights consisting of 2-ounce pours of four featured wines will be offered for $8. Harper serves as the corporate wine and beverage director for all five award-winning Bristol wine programs. He has gained the title of a Certified Wine Educator, which acknowledges exceptional academic and sensory wine knowledge. This honor is the highest level of recognition of the Society of Wine Educators. He is also licensed through the French Wine Society to teach the curriculum of the French Wine Academy. With his passion for wine and his nose for food pairings, he will be making Bastille at the Bristol a celebration to remember!  The Bristol Bar and Grille Jeffersonville is located in the Sheraton Louisville Riverside Hotel at 700 West Riverside Drive Jeffersonville, Indiana. Prospect Thursday’s in June
The Prospect Bristol Bar and Grille continues to offer good reasons to start the weekend early with Thursday jazz concerts and wine specials throughout the summer. Joe Debow, a local musician specializing in jazz piano and harmonica, will be the featured artist each week, performing original classics from 6 to 9 p.m. From 4 p.m. to close, there are 15 wines offered at just $15 per bottle, and each variety is selected by the Bristol’s resident wine expert Scott Harper.
